Sherlock will be returning to the BBC (eventually) but the network is so excited that they’re teasing their Christmas special an entire year ahead of time without double-checking their Photoshop skills.
Take note of what is missing from old-fashioned looking star Benedict Cumberbatch — who is gesticulating wildly next to Martin Freeman — below.
The image itself was posted on the BBC One Twitter account along with the all hashtag caption, “#221back #Sherlock #notkidding.”
Both photo and tweet were later deleted and replaced after BBC realized they had posted a poorly Photoshopped image in which it appeared good old Sherl had lost an arm in battle.

The BBC show will be back with a Christmas special in 2015 which is currently set to begin airing this coming January.
You know, when Cumberbatch and Freeman are done with all this Hobbit nonsense.
