It’s a festive 2013 for BBC One, and a hell of a season for television in general. The broadcaster has released its annual trailer for its Christmas slate of new, original programming.
Check out the full trailer below, which features new clips from Doctor Who, Sherlock, Call the Midwife, EastEnders and all the other fantastic TV viewers can expect this holiday season. The trailer is fairly brief, but I have to admit I got a tinge of excitement at seeing clips of new Call the Midwife. It’s been ENTIRELY too long. Doubly so for Sherlock. And had we not gotten a 50th Anniversary special, I’d be dealing with Doctor Who withdrawal as well. So let’s just say, I’m glad for the holiday season. (And The Doctor scoping out Clara as her “boyfriend”? Good times)
